What do you consider interesting?

  1. My favorite pass time that I find interesting is being imaginative or creative with the arts. I find myself spending spare time starting from listening to various types of music to writing about deep adventurous stories and characters. There's always an adventure in my mind that's just waiting to jump onto paper. To me this is relaxing and I can self reflect through my characters.
  2. The subject I most enjoy reading about is Science Fiction because, some authors create scientific advancements, objects and horrors that you would sometimes only hope to see in books and that just draws me to readings such as that. Reading subjects like Science Fiction and Fantasy help me in my writing because there will be some different techniques of writing. One of my favorite Science Fiction books is Enchantress of the Stars, which is about a young girl named Elana, belongs to a peaceful, technologically advanced, space-faring civilization called the "Federation". Elana stows away on a ship in order to accompany her father on a mission to a planet where intervention has been deemed necessary because a technologically advanced empire has invaded the planet in order to take advantage of its resources. In order to lead a young woodcutter (a native of that planet) against them (without exposing him to the truth about either alien civilization) Elana takes on the role of an enchantress. She gives him various tools, leading him to believe that they are magical.
  3. My favorite school subject has always been Science, I grew up watching Science shows on the few science channels that there were on T.V and ever since a young age my interest for Science and it's advancements has never dimmed. It upset me in my Senior year when I found out that I don't have a Science class of some sort, it's almost like something's missing but I didn't let it get me down as much, to fill in that empty gap I read what Science journals and the new things that were discovered in that week. Although some of the things that are discovered tend to scare me a bit like the 'God Particle' discovery but even that doesn't turn me away from the subject of other Scientific discoveries.
  4. The type of volunteer activity I prefer are educational and school related activities because they're right in school which is for the most part not difficult to arrive at because it's close and it's a safe way to earn community service hours.
  5. If I won the lottery, I would have to wait till after taxes to see how much is left before I could spend it on anything. If the money I received was a lot then most likely I would keep some for a rainy day and save the rest for college, mostly because I wouldn't know what to do with large amounts of money that could be in the six-figures range.
  6. If I ran the world, it would be a nerve wrecking experience with difficult decisions and stressful hours. I wouldn't exactly know what to do, but terrorism seems to be at a high right now so I would probably start with that by diminishing it if not stopping it completely.
